Quentin Brummet is a Senior Research Methodologist in the Statistics and Methodology department at NORC. Brummet's research includes evaluations of social policies as well as the development of new statistical methods for both causal inference and survey methodology. This research has been published in peer-reviewed journals in economics, statistics, and education policy. He is also co-Principal Investigator on awards from the National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health to use linked administrative data to further understand both dynamics of STEM teacher workforce and the transition from school to adulthood. Prior to coming to NORC, Brummet was Chief of the Survey and Economic Research Branch in the US Census Bureau's Center for Administrative Records Research and Applications where he oversaw a research program focused on developing new methods for incorporating administrative records in federal surveys.
